It all started in our tiny apartment kitchen 

One day my husband, Jesse, said to me, "Let's make gourmet gluten free doughnuts!", I thought he was crazy.

We started selling our gourmet baked cake doughnuts at the Charlestown Farmers' Market in late 2015. My name is Lauren O'Neill, I'm the baker, and my husband, Jesse O'Neill, he's the brains of this operation. Together We are a great duo!

Jesse found out about his gluten allergy in 2011 and had a hard time finding places that had gluten free options. Everywhere we went we'd ask about gluten free options and they rarely even knew what gluten was. One day he wanted doughnuts, do you think any doughnut place around here has gluten free doughnuts, nope. That's when it hit him. He asked me to come up with a gluten free doughnut.

I love being unique and creative with all that I do, especially with baking! When Jesse challenged the idea of making a gluten free doughnut, I was on it! After many weeks of trial and error I finally  found  something  that worked. A delicious, fluffy, moist, flavorful doughnut! That opened the door to many things. We started out just doing doughnuts and now we are expanding to many other gluten free goodies like pie, cake, cheesecakes, waffles and much more. 

You can find our doughnuts at our shop located at 421 Alamo st.

Our hours are 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

We offer our delicious gourmet doughnuts as well as a few other breakfast options like eggs with wilted kale and bacon and a few lunch options like soup and doughscuits (doughnut sandwiches).
